Almond Crusted Salmon Recipe

Almond Crusted Salmon Recipe

  • 1 tsp. cooking oil
  • 1/3 c. very finely crushed almonds
  • 1/3 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 salmon fillets/steaks


  1. In a medium bowl, combine crushed almonds, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper with a whisk or fork.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg until yolk and white are thoroughly combined.
  3. Dip salmon fillet into egg and the into crushed almond mixture. Repeat with other fillet.
  4. In a medium frypan, heat oil.
  5. Place breaded salmon fillets into heated oil and fry until golden brown.
  6. Turn fillets and fry other side until golden brown and salmon is cooked through.
  7. Serve warm and Enjoy!


You can serve this main entree with a variety of oven-roasted vegetables. Our favorite roasted vegetables are broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus. The meal can be completed with quinoa or brown rice as a side dish.
Add a light white wine to complete the meal. There is no doubt that this dish will please even the most discerning palate. For a perfect finishing touch, add a squeeze of fresh lemon. Family and friends will enjoy it.
