Ingredients
- 1 tsp. cooking oil
- 1/3 c. very finely crushed almonds
- 1/3 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. salt
- ½ tsp. pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 salmon fillets/steaks
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine crushed almonds, Parmesan cheese, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper with a whisk or fork.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg until yolk and white are thoroughly combined.
- Dip salmon fillet into egg and the into crushed almond mixture. Repeat with other fillet.
- In a medium frypan, heat oil.
- Place breaded salmon fillets into heated oil and fry until golden brown.
- Turn fillets and fry other side until golden brown and salmon is cooked through.
