Ingredients

  • 1-lb. salmon fillet, cut into 4 equal pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 Tbsp. sweep chili sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1½ Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Place the 4 pieces of salmon into a medium bowl.
  2. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
  3. To make marinade, in a small bowl combine minced garlic, grated ginger, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.
  4. To the same small bowl, add the soy sauce to the other ingredients and stir to thoroughly combine.
  5. Pour all of the marinade over the salmon in the medium bowl and marinate 30 minutes, or up to overnight in refrigerator.
  6. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  7. Place the marinated pieces of salmon onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet or dish.
  8. Bake in 400° F. preheated oven for 15 – 20 minutes, brushing salmon pieces once or twice with the marinade.
  9. Bake another 5 minutes or until salmon is cooked and flaky. Cooking times may vary, depending on the thickness of the fish pieces.
  10. Remove from baking pan and serve immediately. Rice and broccoli make great
    accompaniments to this dish.
