Ingredients
- 1-lb. salmon fillet, cut into 4 equal pieces
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1 Tbsp. sweep chili sauce
- 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1½ Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Instructions
- Place the 4 pieces of salmon into a medium bowl.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste.
- To make marinade, in a small bowl combine minced garlic, grated ginger, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil.
- To the same small bowl, add the soy sauce to the other ingredients and stir to thoroughly combine.
- Pour all of the marinade over the salmon in the medium bowl and marinate 30 minutes, or up to overnight in refrigerator.
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Place the marinated pieces of salmon onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet or dish.
- Bake in 400° F. preheated oven for 15 – 20 minutes, brushing salmon pieces once or twice with the marinade.
- Bake another 5 minutes or until salmon is cooked and flaky. Cooking times may vary, depending on the thickness of the fish pieces.
- Remove from baking pan and serve immediately. Rice and broccoli make great
accompaniments to this dish.
